![]() Emile successfully kills one of the Sangheili with his shotgun before a second sneaks up behind him and impales him with an energy sword. Keyes orders Emile to fire on the advancing battlecruiser, however, before Emile can oblige a Phantom attacks the landing zone, destroying one Pelican and deploying a group of Sangheili warriors onto the mass driver. As the package is handed over, a Ket-pattern battlecruiser is revealed to be moving in on the Pillar of Autumn. Once cleared, Keyes' Pelican arrives and Captain Keyes retrieves the Package from Noble Six. Emile mans the facility's mass driver to provide covering fire against incoming Covenant Phantoms, while Noble Six and surviving Marines engage the Covenant on the ground. The two SPARTAN-IIIs are then hailed by Captain Jacob Keyes, whose cruiser, the Pillar of Autumn, is moored at the facility, and are ordered to clear a landing zone for the Captain, who will use a Pelican to retrieve the Package himself. The two SPARTAN-IIIs continue their journey and eventually reach the Asźod ship breaking facility. Realizing that the Scarab's presence prevents Emile and Noble Six from moving on, Carter rams it with the Pelican, knocking it off a cliff and sacrificing himself in the process. Upon reaching the other side, however, they are confronted by a Scarab. After battling through several Covenant outposts, the two SPARTAN-IIIs are forced to continue their journey through a cave system to circumvent a large group of Covenant forces. Emile-A239 and SPARTAN-B312 execute a low-altitude jump from the Pelican outside of the dockyard and are forced to fight their way to the facility. Carter orders SPARTAN-B312 and Emile-A239 to complete the courier mission without him, while he lures the Covenant away from the pair by using the Pelican as a decoy. The Pelican is critically damaged and Carter-A259 is badly wounded. After the fall of the Pillar, Erebus Core fled to construct a new base. The level opens with the remainder of Noble Team onboard a D77-TC Pelican, on their way to deliver Cortana to the dry-docked UNSC Pillar of Autumn. Purity's mod team believes the base was leaked by former mod DouuG1 to Valhalla, and he was banned for this, which remains controversial. Valhalla claimed that it was found using random block rotations in screenshots, which would be the only known use of this in the history of the server. On 1 January 2020, the Pillar of Autumn was griefed by Valhalla. This event was actually a shitpost by Chief - the base survived for months after this supposed fall. Stacks of TNT and lava were harmed in the making. ![]() Chief had taken it upon himself to remove the pox that was M1an's presence via detonating the ship's reactor core, just like Halo: CE. Two weeks into the interior's construction, on October tenth, MastersChief found out that M1an supported Israel unironically, which caused him to require a statement be made. ![]() ![]() There is little else to discuss besides the fact it's the greatest build of all time and if one were to disagree they'd be stupid and dumb and bad and retarded and gay. The infamous group known as Dumpster Dogs has visited the PoA once, baiting the discord into believing the ship had been compromised. It is the team's most finely crafted work, utilizing all of their two chromosomes to achieve the perfection that is the PoA. Containing water elevators, mausoleums, and storage rooms, the Pillar of Autumn serves as the headquarters for Erebus Core. Inside is a convoluted, but detailed interior made to resemble a sci-fi base. The PoA (Pillar of Autumn) is about 100 blocks long. (A fucking lie to himself, but at least he couldn't fly, right?) The project took about a week of building, though eventually it was finally completed. Utilizing a 3D file of the Pillar of Autumn from the video game Halo, Chief had recreated the entire ship in survival mode, all resources gathered by himself. 1.4 The (second, real) Fall of The Pillar.1.3 The (first, fake) Fall of The Pillar. ![]()
